Reporting the Brisbane G20: A panel discussion

Brisbane Free University presents a panel discussion in anticipation of the G20 Summit held in Brisbane in November 2014. Topics for discussion include how Brisbane locals can report the G20 and other events in the city, as well as the broader role of media (traditional and contemporary) in building resistance movements. Sam Sellar is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Education at the University of Queensland.  He is currently working on projects investigating national and global educational policy, new accountabilities in schooling and the aspirations of young people in high-poverty regions.  Sam has recently published articles in the Journal of Education PolicyBritish Education Research Journal and Educational Philosophy and Theory.
